Kenneth Duncan Jr.
Founder
Kenneth Duncan Jr. channels a legacy of leadership into empowering Sacramento's youth. With a psychology degree from Wilberforce University and a decade of nonprofit experience, he was driven to create a space for holistic development. Ball-Out Academy provides mentorship, leadership training, and athletic programs that inspire young people to become confident community leaders.

A true product of the program, Coach Trey's journey with Ball-Out Academy has come full circle. Having been mentored by our leadership since 7th grade, he now passionately gives back as a coach. As a Sacramento native, Trey is a powerful living example of how dedicated mentorship builds not just individual success but also stronger communities.

With over 30 years of coaching experience, Kenneth Duncan Sr. is a dedicated mentor who nurtures young athletes both on and off the court. He is also a lifelong civil rights advocate, having coordinated the annual Dr. Martin Luther King celebration for four decades. At Ball-Out Academy, his greatest joy is seeing the 'light come on' as he guides the next generation.
